Since we're not talking about anything else yet, some of you I talked to today wanted to check out http://hanyuqiao.forumotion.com to see where I got the idea for this forum from.

Epistaxis story

Post  HaydenLee on Fri Aug 08, 2008 4:17 pm

Casey; funny we were talking about blood noses and then I got back to Canberra and had a blood nose. not funny. and when you have one blood nose, you tend to have heaps more over the next week or so. (As if you've never had one! Such a lie!!!)
So yeah, have to get it cauterised (spelling?) again...
although this morning i had a blood nose and was coughing blood and A New First for me! Crying blood. Kinda weird...your eye kinda goes blurry, and then yeah...
Just thought I'd tell you A) because I don't know anyone else who's had blood come out their tearducts and B) cos Casey claims she hasn't had a blood nose before.
Olympics!!!

Post  StephenMackereth on Sat Aug 09, 2008 3:32 pm

I love this forum - I never knew 'epistaxis' meant 'nosebleed' until I looked it up after seeing your post. Fascinating story - thanks for posting.

The clouds are lovely today. Auckland can generally be counted on to produce interesting weather formations. Anyone else interested in weather? If so, you will be very envious to hear that once, I saw an altocumulus lenticularis (reasonably rare formation, often preceding very strong winds, as was the case). Unable to take a photo unfortunately.

I can't remember why I never got a photo, some camera issue I think. I was very disappointed. ARRGGHH I can't get an image to attach, but anyway they looked like UFOs. There were 2 or 3, I think.

Hey Kieran thanks for joining! We are still waiting for Steph and Yasmin as you are probably aware.

I have moved your post to this topic jsut to keep things tidy, not that it's particularly important. Feel free to randomly change subject. We wouldn't want the contents of this forum to be restricted by inhibiting factors such as logic Very Happy
